The durability of a polyester shell pool largely depends on the materials used and the care taken at each stage of its manufacture.

At Aboral Piscines goes, the entire production is carried out in France, in two factories: one in Saint-Jean-d’Illac in Gironde, the other in Simandre in Saône-et-Loire. Since its creation in 2006, Aboral has had all of its resins and gelcoats manufactured in France, as part of a short supply chain and quality control at each step.

The manufacturing follows a seven-step process, from mold preparation to final inspection. This manufacturing know-how expresses itself through precise technical choices:

  • The Alvéocore® structureintegrated under the steps and the bench, it prevents any deformation and guarantees exceptional stability and rigidity over time.
  • The Isophthalic resin high performance, used as a structural layer, gives the tank excellent mechanical strength and superior resistance to soil stresses.
  • The vinylester anti-osmosis resin, combined with a fiberglass fabric, forms an effective barrier against osmosis and ensures durable waterproofing.

The interior lining, made of Iso NPG Aquashine® gelcoat, is on average twice as durable as a traditional liner.

Aboral Piscines goes is among the only pool builders to offer a 20-year structural and waterproofing warranty, and 10 years on the gelcoat (1) across all its ranges, from compact models to Tailor Made custom swimming pools.

Specifically, if a structural or waterproofing defect appears within 20 years of installation, coverage is provided without any specific action on your part. The gelcoat warranty protects the surface finish against osmosis, a degradation phenomenon that can permanently alter a poorly manufactured pool.

These coverage levels exempt you from subscribing to a dedicated pool insurance ; moreover, no law imposes any. Nevertheless, certain obligations remain the responsibility of the owner: construction all-risks insurance is legally mandatory before the start of the construction site, and declaring your swimming pool to your home insurer is essential to preserve your guarantees in the event of a claim.
